Events in the field of dangerous goods incidents and accident around the world

 



What happens when dangerous goods shipments are not packed properly or proper packaging material
are not used or they are not marked, labeled or documented properly.

Training:
DGM India conducted two in house programme on Basic Course on Transport of Dangerous Goods by Sea (IMDG Code) for the following companies
  1. Missionpharma Logistics, Kandla SEZ, where more than 15 employees were trained
  2. Atul Ltd, Atul, where more than 20 employees from various divisions were trained

CII Western region – Logistics committee recently organized a One-day training programme on Managing Risk involved in transportation of dangerous goods at Mumbai. DGM India was the Knowledge and content partner for that event and Shri Radharamanan Panicker, the programme coordinator and instructor.

DGM India recently concluded its forth Basic Course on Transport of Dangerous goods by air on 15th Dec08.

Network development:-
The risk coverage for DGM companies engaged globally in processing of dangerous goods has been extended for another year.

New countries are added to the network in 2009 – Poland and Mexico. The US network has been strengthened in 2008 so as to cover all cities in US besides Houston.
