Course Contents

IATA’s DGR will be used as reference material for the course. Additional reading material will be provided by DGM as course hand-outs.

The course content therefore draws upon from the structure of the IATA DGR Manual and will consist of the following topics:-

  • Introduction to the Dangerous Goods and fundamental principle for its safe transportation by air
  • National and International regulation governing the transport of dangerous goods by air
  • Interpretation of Notification to Pilot (NOTOC)
  • Addressing the Dangerous Goods that are not permitted in the baggage.
  • Apply relevant emergency procedures when a damaged/leaking package is discovered or any dangerous goods related incident happens.

Course Guidelines and Protocol

  • Passing percentage set at 80%.
  • Marks will not be disclosed.
  • No provision for re-evaluation.
  • Results announced after 7 working days.
  • Re-test requests to be emailed to academy@dgmindia.in.
